what? christmas tree? LoL! I thought Halloween was like last week.. We are getting our tree on the 18th of December, more when it might actually feel like Christmas.

umm one time "a family member" of mine got his christmas tree from the side of the freeway (ya know on the side where those trees are growing? yeah he cut one down) it was pretty funny and all he didnt get caught either (but the tree looked horrendus).

Here's one from a couple of years back. Besides the bubble lights, it's decorated in ribbon cables and AOL CDs. (The stuff under the tree is just a few things I had in the garage that I put there there because it didn't look right not to have anything under the tree.)

This one is from last year, but the stuff under the tree didn't come from the garage.
 
Looks like I'll have to take a pic of the new tree when I get home. My wife got a killer deal on a nice 7' artificial tree, since most regular trees are very dry by the time they get here.
 
Who the hell wants an artificial tree???

Btw, i expected to see many "american overdoings", but the ones i've are within the boundaries of "decency". You americans are famous for overdoing things allover the world.

It's not even fvcking December yet! Christ, you peeple are the idiots that cause Christmas decorations to be up in stores before Halloween, aren't you?
 
Our tree won't go up for another week or three. We've given up on real trees though, they make too much of a mess.. plus we got the fake tree free from my uncle because he had no use for it (he doesn't like christmas).
