I have not seen a properly tested Pentium M vs. Turion benchmark. They use different laptop manufacturers, which apparently makes a BIG performance difference and battery life difference somehow. Or if they don't, they use different system specs(Core Duo using 512MB X1400 and Pentium M with 128MB X300 and Tomshardware wondering why Core Duo has crappy battery life). Or if they do both right, they don't document properly.
Thing is, power consumption comparisons by using a desktop motherboard, whether the chipset is a mobile chipset or not does not matter. The motherboard manufacturer can always change the power management so it will be different. GamePC review really invalidates the results that way. Only way to properly benchmark is using laptops with SAME CONFIGURATION, SAME MANUFACTURER.
