There may be some auroral activity this evening.

How about people taking some pics and posting if possible?

Cool pics. Out here in lala land we can't hardly even see stars let alone cool psychedelic sky colors.

I saw some great activity last year in early October...driving back from Boston to Rochester (I was somewhere in Onandaga county with no lights when I saw it.) Stopped on the side of the road to watch it but didn't have my camera to take pics.

Where are you Hayabusa rider? Is it possible to see this here in Rochester with all the city light pollution?

In the Churchville area west of Rochester. To the east of me can be too bright for good observing, especially on humid nights, but north, south and west are pretty good. The pics with the powerlines are north

in new york, there's too much pollution to see aurora borealis(es?!) and stars. :(
