Yeah I'll give you the first part, I meant last paragraph, obviously not last sentence.

I was not bashing the Wii in my OP, the "Wii-tarded" was a joke (You guys make jokes here right?). In my OP I was just simply asking questions that needed to be asked, were they not serious questions that could arise after the "wow" factor of the Wii is over?

My OP was not meant to sound biased, it was just my opinion on the potential problems with the Wii in the future, and like I said before, if Nintendo can keep the interest of the people, I will buy one.

See, now you're showing some thought and some promise. ;)

I am new member here and I don't appreciate the name calling, especially if it's uncalled for. Thanks again for the warm welcome. =/

Eh, do all new guys (because I certainly don't mean girls) go through this "hazing" before they're welcomed? =)

Anyways back to the topic......The Wii SUCKS!!!!

Isnt callout threads bad? So wouldn't a callout account be even worse? Anyway, I'm sure he is in for endless flames and trolling in his (hopefully shortlived) ATOT career.

Wow, I played the Wii for the first time last night. I was a bit skeptical about whether I would like it or not, but it turns out to be pretty fun. :)
but we spent entirely too much time trying to figure out how to get the cradle from the monkey in zelda...
I may get one soon, I think it would be a great way to switch things up from playing on the 360 once in a while.

I think that they made the initial puzzles difficult so you get used to the controls, because you get thrown right into it later on.

I don't like Midna :|

Press home, and go down to the controller settings. The entire bottom of the screen is a button, which isnt obvious at first.

Is it just me, or are the virtual console games WAY too expensive? I just can't pay 5 bucks for a NES game, 8 bucks for snes/genesis, and 10 for an n64 game. They should be half that.

agreed. however, at the same time, I never bought Ocarina, so $10 would be worth it... granted... I have to buy a controller on top of that. But there are plenty of games I never played.

Regardless, I agree they should be around half of what they are now, and I wish the gamecube controller worked for all the games.

we also have broken tv #2 to report. While I think people should maybe drop it down a notch, I had a feeling this would happen from the early videos that showed off the wiimote. The wrist strap really is pretty weak. It should have been more elastic, and possibly a bit thicker.

My guess is that these people are smashing their TVs from bowling. I figured that out when I frist got it and now play about 1ft to the left of the TV, so if I launch it, all I'll destroy is drywall or speaker :p

Ya...a bit tighter too. But people need to recognize that the strap isnt going to save them. They need to hold onto the controller tightly...the strap is only a safety net.

If anything, perhaps they'll have the price of VC games after they've been out for a little while...a few weeks/months. I guess that would be a decent compromise.

It might be worth it to the people who've never played them before...but theres a lot of people that have. It's more of a collection/nostalgia thing to us. Id drop 2.50 to get old school zelda and solomons key, but not $5. I'd pay $5 for a n64 game I've never played, but no way I'd pay 10 for any old game that I dont even get a physical copy of.

Or at least upgrade the game with high res, better gfx/snd, online mutli etc...SOMETHING to make it worth the price.

I'd pay that for my all time favorites, but not any old game. I wish they'd gone with a Napster-like subscription model. :( I'd pay a monthly fee for access to the entire library.

Me too, It would be nice to have a subscription plan, w/ the option to buy games.

My guess is they're holding a lot of the games back because they figure people won't look through a list of thousands of games. By releasing them weekly or monthly they'll probably sell more.

But if they only do 10 a month I'll be REALLY disappointed.
