No way I'm missing this one.

Interesting how this will run before the SC primary. As much whining as the right do about the liberal media conspiracy airing it before the primary does Republicans a favor. Gincrigh has been surging in the polls and if that trend continues it would be more damaging to wait until after Florida. We'll see.

This will be me on Thursday...

I was of the impression most of that sordid tale was already out. Not sure there could be much impact. His douchebaggery on this is well documented.

Maybe people hear and political junkies may know but most of the populus doesn't know details.

Those South Carolinian evangelicals may blow a gasket if she goes into the BJ in the driveway while his kids were walking by.

I doubt it's going to top him dumping his first wife at the hospital with two kids, then refusing to pay child support, and then running on platform of personal responsibility and cutting welfare to kids whose dads did what he did. But I all ears 😀

The only reason for the 'liberal media' not to air this before the SC primary is to keep Ron Paul out of second place. I hope they release this before SC and it decimates Gingrich's candidacy. That man is not fit to be president of this great country.

There's a non-negligible amount of conservative women who will pretty much outright refuse to vote for Gingrich because of his past with his ex-wives.

Like conservative women vote. 🙄
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Earth To Nebor, Liberal women vote too. Look at all female voters who constitute 50% of all USA voters, and then learn it and live it that Newt's family values repulsively flop among almost all USA voting females.

His ideas are winning debates and inspiring people to support him. Queue the character assassinations.

The GOP and media have anointed Romney to be the talking business puppet for 2012.

If this was Gingrich campaigning and debating in the General, I'd say you have a point. But at the moment, he's singing to the choir in the primaries. He's winning over and inspiring fellow Repubs. IMO most else of what he's been campaigning on doesn't go over well at all with, of course, the Dems, but neither does his rhetoric or his personal life choices go over well with the independents either.

Fully agree with your second comment though.

I would have trouble voting for a person that I would expect to keep the vow he makes to the country and the Constitution if he can't keep the vow he's made to one person.

I heard a leaked audio clip from the interview of his ex saying he (KingGrinch) wanted an open marriage and she said she wouldn't go along with it.

I second that.

Also note that Gingrich is far far worse than Billl Clinton on this subject. For Clinton, cheating was some sort of physical desire, but it does appear that he truly did love Hillary as a soulmate.

Gingrich left two women, one when she had cancer, the other when she had multiple sclerosis. Ignoring politics, Newt's personal life is a legiit reason to noot vote for him.

Indeed. This interview would be a waste of my time - it'd be hard for me to think less of the man. I can't understand how any reasonable person would consider him electable. Clinton may have been a cad as well, but at least he had charm. If Gingrich ends up being the GOP nominee, the Obamas can start planning their second inauguration party. Obama would have to strangle puppies stolen from orphans on live TV for him to lose to Newt.

In the debate Newt said the story as shown by the clip of his ex-wife isn't true.

Newt has called Maryanne a defacto liar. Not going to go over very well
