The one thing I do like about Biden is his willingness to open his mouth and insert his leg upto the knee. The guy provides some great snips because he is so rough around the neck.

He graduated with a double major in history and political science in 1965. He went on to receive his J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law in 1968

When Biden did take office on January 3, 1973, at age 30, the minimum age to become a U.S. Senator, he became the fifth-youngest senator in U.S. history. In 1974, then-freshman Senator Biden was named one of the 200 Faces for the Future by Time magazine.

Biden has since won additional terms, usually with about 60 percent of the vote. Biden spent 28 years as a junior Senator due to the two-year seniority of his Republican colleague William V. Roth. After Roth was defeated for re-election by Thomas R. Carper in 2000 Biden became Delaware's senior Senator. He is now the longest-serving U.S. Senator in Delaware history.

Biden sits on the board of advisors of the Close Up Foundation and has been co-chair of the NATO Observer Group in the Senate.

110th Congress

Biden serves on the following committees in the 110th U.S. Congress:

* Committee on Foreign Relations (chairman)
o As chairman of the full committee Biden is an ex officio member of each subcommittee.
* Committee on the Judiciary
o Subcommittee on Antitrust Competition Policy and Consumer Rights
o Subcommittee on Crime and Drugs (chairman)
o Subcommittee on Human Rights and the Law
o Subcommittee on Immigration, Border Security, and Refugees
o Subcommittee on Technology Terrorism and Homeland Security
* Caucus on International Narcotics Control (co-chairman)

Better than McCain's credentials or Palin's for that matter.

McCain graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1958 4th from the bottom of his class. The Senate Ethics Committee said he used poor judgment in the Keating-Five scandal.

Palin went to six colleges, in six years, and graduated with a degree in journalism with a minor in politics (great combination for propaganda skills). PTA, hockey mom, and mayor of a 7,000 population town. She's spent less than two years as governor in one of the least populated states with one of the smallest budgets.
