More power, more towing, more interior space, available GPS, available DVD player in the back (good for our trips to Baltimore), and a competitive price.

I still prefer the styling of the Highlander though. It's distinctive with nothing else that looks quite like it. The Pilot looks like an overgrown CRV.

Which is built of the Honda Odyssey minivan chassis (many people seem to forget that). I think the MDX looks pretty crappy. The Pilot looks OK though, even if it is a bit CRVish

They're in already... but their Honda Passport is just a copy of the Isuzu Rodeo.

it looks kinda odd... roofline is too low to the ground for most 'utes, and too tall for a station wagon... sorta looks minivan-ish to me, i guess. since it is a minivan underneath i guess thats not surprising... goes back to the original oddysey with 4 real doors rather than the sliding ones... eh... i wonder if they did a horrible job hiding the rear suspension and exhaust system under the rear body work like they normally do?

The Highlander looks more like a raised up station wagon than an SUV to me. I like the looks of the Pilot, but I believe the wife is getting a Odyssey next.

The Pilot has a third row of seats which the Highlander and RX300 do not which is the reason I will probably buy the car.
