So I just made some grapenuts and I'm wondering: Just how many people make the grapenuts like me? How many people even eat grapenuts?
I like to mix honey with the grapenuts because it makes it taste good. Also, while in college I discovered a fascinating secret. Partly because being in college I was poor, I couldn't afford more honey to use with my grapenuts. So I tried syrup. And lo and behold it tasted the same with either mixed! So its just cheaper to use syrup so I get the lite version.
For some reason one box of grapenuts (the regular size, not the extra large box) only lets me make about 3 to 4 servings. I don't eat it all at once, I usually have enough for 3 meals per the 4 times the box affords me to make the grapenuts. I usually boil them in water on the stove until its nice and thick but really thick, so when I add a dash of milk and the syrup it doesn't make the grapenuts too watery. No, no pics. That would be weird
Note: This is the Post wheat cereal, grapenuts.
