so what is so awesome about these accounts, i can't even foresee using the 100 meg i get at yahoo(or whatever the hell it is). And then someone will say the freedom of choosing user names with less restrictions, but that doesn't seem worth all this trouble. why the huge scramble for these things, the beta will eventually end.

Might be a better idea to give them even less time, say 3 hours.
Some people have many auctions running, maybe they have one that's about to close.

I got an invite a few days ago that I still didn't use though. I use it to check username availability for friends and have no intention of selling it.

I haven't received any invites the past couple days, so I raided my sister's, nieces, and nephew accounts I setup a couple weeks ago. I'll have 18 more invites to give out in the next trivia contest.

I have to run errands first.

PLEASE DO NOT PM ME BEGGING FOR AN INVITE. I will not reply.

also, I'll make a new thread in OT. I asked the mods, one of them said it was OK, but that they'd check with the other mods first. I haven't heard anything since then, so if it gets locked, TS.

This is hillarious. People buying lots of 20 gmail invites on eBay and then trying to resell them individually... I bet PayPal will get most of the profits, eBay gets listing fees... maybe it's just feedback whoring.

wow, I logged into gmail this afternoon and was shocked

On another note, I still have 3 invites to give out.
The only way I will give them out though is if someone helps another person out in the technical support, software, hardware, etc. forum. They must then say that your solution fixed their problem. PM me a link to the thread that you helped someone out in and I will send you a GMAIL invite. Easy as that; I dont care about # of posts or length of time you were an AT member. Just help out fellow ATers.
