Anyways, anyone who signed up within the past two days receive any invites yet? I got one of the first invites from this forum yesterday morning for the gmail account and still have not received anything. I've been waiting to get them so I could share the love....

i have one this afternoon, and i haven't got any yet.

yea i got mine yesteday also and ive receved no invites to give out

Stock cooling. Prime95 gets it cooking but I am <40c for normal work stuff. Stepping is the "famous" M0 stepping! That is the 2.4C with the EE core!

This topic is slowing down tonight! Much less lively than last night. When I get my invites I will likely take the time to go through this topic and give them to the people who really deserve them, and not to the people who continue to spam this thread with "I want an invite." There's just too many of you to count. Don't any of you realize that? Do you really think posting "Please send me an invite" after 500 other people did is going to do anything to increase your chances of getting one?

dunno how long it took, someone invited me, I said yes that night (email link) and then checked it again a day or so later and had the invites. I will check my wifes account, as soon as she has invites I will pass them along.

That's a solid rig. When DOOM III and HL2 come out I may sell off a half dozen of my other PC's and put some cash into upgrading my main rig. Until then I haven't seen a need to upgrade my current rig since it runs Counter-Strike (currently the only game I play) just fine. 😀

My bro works at Best Buy and is gonna sell me the Intel package he's going to get from their retail program when that starts up since he just ordered the Athlon 64 package from the AMD retail program yesterday. I figure that'll be a good time to start upgrading!

And I don't do UT2K4. I bought UT2k3 and never got into it, and the addition of vehicles doesn't really do it for me.

As for AMD vs. Intel, I'll take whatever is cheapest, and the Intel Retail Edge promo will be cheaper than any non retail-promo AMD solution.
