what was the story.. i dont remember anymore, i seem to recall buying a 64mb vivo ati radeon card from him way back... the card is still working on my machine..
 
He posted a ton of stuff every day. Helped us all. Then, never posted again...after 9/11!

MANY people have... I have given away about 20, and more have come in from other people.

Now the trick is for those people that have some to ALSO give them away here, as this is where they received theirs.

I have 4 accounts (family members included) and as SOON as I get more invites, they will be here, AND I am sure others who have accounts are waiting for their invites to come so they can invite people here as well...

When I get my invites, depending on the number of them, I will probably post something like, "first 5 PM's get GMAIL accounts!"

And they don't want to open it up yet, because they are probably stress testing, but for me, SO FAR SO GOOD!

Seriously thought. I love the simplicity of GMAIL, and seeing I used to PAY Hotmail for the extra storage, simple, is better for me!
 
I will check my (4) Gmail accounts later on tonight, so if there's any invites, I will pass them along

BTW, can't believe how many people want an account still! Too bad retards on eBay are selling them!

I do not think he did that. At one time some people saw the list from 9/11 and there was someone who could have been him. I forgot the details...someone may remember.

Well, I finally realized it was just stupid waiting, so I went ahead and paid $5 on ebay for an account. If I get any more, I'll share! (although would be happy to accept donations to make up my cost.. hahaha)

So far it looks pretty cool. Not really revolutionary, but has some features I like, I think I'll be able to forward all of my email from my own domain to it - and importantly, it will honor that domain in the "reply to" field.

Yeah, I figured it wasn't the case, but it's somewhat less sad. AT should have retired his icon.
