What stinks is, even if you click the link first, you will probalby not get it unless you hit submit first in the application area. I clicked on the link above a few hundred posts 🙂, was in the process of filling out the fields, and it was taken anyway.

It's a lot more challenging if your make 4 or more windows and try to rotate around refreshing them as fast as you can. 😀

This is the problem with posting invites here. Lurkers are all over just trying to get an invite and add nothing to the community. Invites should be handled thru PM's.

I just quartered the screen. Sure it's slower, but it breaks up the monotony of hitting F5 or refresh on just one page.

I disagree entirely. Who wants to deal with giving invites to everyone that asks? dealing with those that have already gotten them? being the poor sap skipped over by everyone by chance?

That would be one royal cockup. This is kind of like the lottery. It entertains, and you have no chance of winning anything.

Thread has certainly kept me amused all day, and it's a hell of a lot better than a lot of lemmings posting "pm me! pm me!"
