yea not sure...i think google is limiting there invites...it's been a bit over a week for me nothing yet...is there some kind of tracking google uses to send out invites? like amount of usage or amount of e-mail ro soemthing?

I think the limiting invites is marketing genius. It has created a huge buzz about gmail and lets face it, it's just email. If you wanted massive storage in email just go to yahoo or any of the other providers of mass-storage free email - no, you want Gmail because it feels cool.

Something similar is http://www.orkut.com/ - it's all free but, you have to "know" someone to get in.
