Tracks 1-4 are great, 5 I didn't like, and I've not listened any farther. All in alll I like it, good tunes, strong vocal good arrangment. 2 thumbs up. They were in town on the 27th, but I didn't go.

I think my favorite tracks are 6 and 8.
Don't get me wrong about Bring Me to Life, but I have been listening to it for a few weeks now from the DD soundtrack.

I just listened to the samples on their web page & I'll likely buy the disc, but...
No offense dude, but don't ya think you're a tad obsessed with her?
Most pics of a concert would include more than just their lead singer.
Good stuff, though. This will be two discs I've bought based solely off of posts on AT (never listen to the radio).

I am kicking myself in the a$$ about Thursday night. I got a little boozed at the local bar and forgot about Leno that night.
So how was their performance, Ben? Was it that bad, or did the guy that did the male vocals on BMTL screw it up?

I want full report so everyone knows the Leno show wasn't their fault AND that they rock without that lame guest singer.
What made you want to check them out?
-Ben-
just got back from the Beaumont Club - Kansas City show , March 8th
the show sold out just minutes before the doors were opened
i arrived at 5:40 pm , went to the back door through the parking garage and there were 4 girls ahead, within 5 minutes there were 20 more people behind us
they opened the back door first, we got inside and one of the security guys said "wait! don't let anybody in yet!" , but we were already in
sat on the riser just to the left of the sound board, great view, about 50 feet from stage.
the first band , "The Tuesday Project" (or something like that) was ok, but everybody was there to see Evanescence, so they weren't to into it. the singer thought he was kurt cobain crossed with that screaming guy, i forget his name. the short guitar guy was pretty cool. they cut their set one short, they knew who we wanted to see!
ben came out with his hood up, with the lights down, looked pretty cool
they busted right into it, rocking hard!!
i must say the guitars sound better live than on the CD, they had the levels just right, Amy wasn't drowned , but i really, really liked the guitar sound live , it was fabulous.
Amy said there was 1600 people there! :Q
it isn't that big of club, it was wall to wall
the kids were doing the body surfing thing and everybody was cheering and loving it
great show!
the door was posted with "no photography" signs, but there were flashes going off the whole time, so hopefully somebody will post up the snaps they got
hey i loved the show, but the last time i saw live music was Devo in 1982
BTW, who was the fifth guy? they either had a bass player or a third guitar, i couldn't tell for sure, but there was a tall guy in the middle that kicked ass, i think he was playing bass
