Update - 2-22-03 11:40PM
I just got in from seeing Evanescence for the second time in two nights. This time cameras were allowed, and the band rocked 10 times more then last night since I was ~1 foot away from the stage - No barriers, no nothing...
I'll have more to say later, but for now, all I have to say is: Best...Pictar..EVAR!(1mb) and...w00t!

If you have any questions about the band or anything, PM me and I'll see if I can help, or atleast point you in the right direction for help!
So yeah, I just got back from seeing Evanescence, and they flat out rocked.
First off - No pics. Camera's weren't allowed because of the Rhode Island incident. Outside the theater was swarming with about 3 news trucks, and reporters walking around...I had the S230 all set to go, but I had to leave it in the car. I was disappointed in not being able to take pics because, IMO, she is gorgeous. (Left) It sucked even more since I was front row and had the perfect angle for pics upon pics upon pics!
Anyways, I'm sure you've all heard or heard of Bring Me to Life off of the DareDevil soundtrack, or have atleast read/seen some of the several threads that have been floating around OT, but let me tell you, they put on a great show.
Hartford was their first stop on this tour since they came out with the single, and they definitely didn't disappoint. The guitar is awesome, and her voice....ohhhhh her voice. Like I said, if you've heard Bring Me To Life, or the other single off the DD SDTK My Immortal then you know exactly what I mean. (And if you haven't heard them then CHECK IT OUT!) I know it sounds lame, but her voice is angelic, and on top of the music....it's just the perfect mix...I hadn't heard any of their other songs until tonight, but it didn't matter - everything was sweet.
The CD drops on March 4th, and I strongly urge everyone to check it out, or goto their site and listen to some of the tracks to get a feel for what they sound like. Like the title says, I think that they will become HUGE - they already have a good sized following, and were by far the best band that I've heard in a LONG time.
Watch out!
Thanks for taking the time to read this thread or check it out!
