my impressions after ms conference, just finished watching it...

call of duty - graphics look nice with A LOT of stuff going on, but it's cod so a big fat MEH. it will just be more of the same and probably not even running on xbox1 in the demo.

assassins creed unity - big fat MEH same old crap, even saw stutter and clipping when walking through that big crowd. it'll be bug ridden just like other ubisoft games.

evolved - looks pretty interesting but want to see a bit more.

forza horizon 2 - not much really new about this, so while i'm excited about the game, it is pretty meh of a presentation. i did like the rally part where they showed you just jumping through fam land.

dragon age - wish i liked rpg games because it looked pretty damn neat from the video.

ori and the blind forest - pretty cool indy looking game. reminds me of max curse of brotherhood.

halo anniversary - pretty damn neat and a great idea, that i bet is going to sell extremely well. it is A TON of game for the $60 price tag.

tomb raider - will definitey get it even though they didnt show jack about it. latest one was just really badass.

witcher 3 - meh. just not my style of game. the combat and controls look clunky as hell just from the video.

the division - not sure how i feel. game looks too busy and clunky as hell just from the video. seems slow too like it is animated funy. but ill wait to see more about it.

scalebound - no clue wtf this game is about. cgi trailers do absolutely nothing for me.

crackdown - definitely excited to see where it is going. don't really care for the trailer though since i'm sure it is all cgi. just excited a new one is coming.

Assassin's Creed issues could be video stutter, I did see some elsewhere. Scalebound is from the guys who did Viewtiful Joe, Bayonetta, the original Devil May Cry. The witcher is far from clunky, the combat in witcher 2 was very good. The game has spells and such that you can cast realtime so it might seem worse than it is. I agree on everything else except Evolved. It will be a big pass from me because like Left 4 Dead...no story.

Well, that's nice. My UStream just froze up. Screw their garbage app; I'll just use my HTPC instead.

It's not working on browser either. Getting their equivalent of the pin wheel of death and I'm on a very fast connection. Must just be getting slammed. Same thing every single E3.

Twitch is working, sort of.

That Entwined game looks fun, but I'd like to play a demo first.

EDIT:

Second Son DLC that doesn't require the main game... strange.

lbp3 ... do not care, show some good shit please. very slow and weak start to this conference imo. the order looks badass but that is about it so far.

It's a creative game but the real bulk of it is being creative with the game's tools. I'm not into that.

It seems like this is the year for online co-op stuff now. So instead of competitive MP every game will be co-op?

I'm not big on LBP either, but the games have always looked kinda cool from a platformer perspective.

EDIT:

Sony needs to get their mics in order though. That's the second presentation where someone had a mic that was turned down.

It has a strong following though...because too few games are creative and too many are "blow up the enemy and shoot the guys over there"
