Reseller's can't ship Conroe procs until 8/07 - If they follow Intel's guidelines (Embargo).

I doubt anyone will get one from the BIG online vendors, until after that date.

I found out any orders made last night at ZZF for the E6300

were also preorders for aug 7,(even though it wasnt listed as per orders last night)

Damn ZZF always playing games

i ordered the thermalright XP90. most existing lga775 coolers should work on it. im hoping to get 3.2Ghz+ out of the E6600.

the OEM versions are out now. whats coming at 3PM EST (supposedly) are the retail versions of core 2 duo.

OH also I called Tiger Direct and they have like 20 of each in stock. They specifically have 20 6400s. I bet they're all gone in a couple more minutes though.

He asked if I wanted to order one but I couldn't pull the trigger for $259... 🙁

I suck, no balls to drop that kinda loot right right now. Maybe in a month or so if the price premiums come off... 😉
 
Hey. I also have been following this thread since last night.
Just FYI, I just called Fry's in SD, and they said that they were suppose to get a shipment of C2D's in yesterday, however they didn't. The guy said they didn't know when they were expecting them. So whether that means there will be some today or not, who knows. Just wanted to share so people don't run down there and find that there are none.

yacoub - for tigerdirect, im sure its for the OEM versions...the retail ones havent started shipping yet. unless...>.< i missed the chance to secure an E6600.
