Saucertek has pretty good customer service and will cancel an order immediately (when they get there in the morning) if it is not really in stock.

That's a joke though. If you look at the E6400 page, it says "Est.Retail Price:
$272.95" and they're charging "only" $255. The MSRP is $224, unless something has changed.

E6600 & E6700 available at Atacom, but expect to pay out of your a$$

A case in point is the P5W DH Dlx. Newegg wants $270 plus shipping, but they have it in stock. Tankguys also has it in stock now too and they are selling the same mobo for $245. And Tankguys is a much smaller operation than Newegg, so their aquisition costs are most certainly higher too. It's a shame to see Newegg getting so predatory on their pricing.
EDIT: Just checked again and Tankguys has now sold out on the P5W DH boards. I guess that if you aren't trying to screw everyone with high prices that your product moves well.

Yeah, I just looked and they are listing the e6600 at $399.95. 🙁 I imagine that there will be a lot of price scalping going on today too. I've also noticed that Newegg has been scalping on hard to find items too. A case in point is the P5W DH Dlx. Newegg wants $270 plus shipping, but they have it in stock. TOKYO, July 27 (Reuters) - Intel Corp. (INTC.O: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Thursday it plans to start shipping new processors for desktop and laptop computers in August, betting the energy-saving chips would help the world's largest semiconductor maker regain share from rival Advanced Micro Devices Inc.
