monarch
atacom E6300 E6600 E6700 X6800
dell XPS 700 system configuration - available with core 2 duo - thanks to bamacre for the link!
shopblt E6300 E6400 E6600 E6700 X6800
tigerdirect E6300 E6400 E6600 E6700 X6800 - all OEM
newegg X6800 (auto notify) - taken down by newegg...
so far, availability wise:
-newegg has all C2D listed, but only the E6300 is in stock. E6600 and above are way overpriced (IMO).
-zzf has the E6300 in stock as i type this. UPDATE - all core 2 duos will be shipped on august 7th. thanks to m21s for this.
-monarch is selling the cpus now, but they wont be shipping/getting them in until the end of august.
-tigerdirect - they are selling OEM versions now (no retail box, no core 2 duo inside sticker, 1 year warranty as opposed to 3 years with retail, no heatsink, only cpu chip)!
-saucertek gives me this message - "either you have attempted to order more items than we have in stock or we have reached our low quantity and cannot guarantee shipment, please enter a quantity LESS than or equal to 0." basically, they are out of stock.
-mwave has the E6300 in stock, but at a high price. every other C2D is out of stock.
-atacom has the E6300, E6600, E6700, and X6800...but their prices are too high. i have no idea when they will get the E6400.
-dell has their XPS 700 built to order with core 2 duos. UPDATE - will not ship computers with C2D until october. thanks to yacoub for this!

Spoke to customer service over at zipzoomfly this afternoon. All Core2Duo will be shipped on the 7th. So the staus will not be changing on there site. Maybe just updated to say pre-orders like the E6300 does now. Just a FYI.This would be minus the ones ordered last night I am assuming, did not ask that. I'm guessing someone could confirm shipping on a E6300 ordered yesterday.

A little nugget about availability - This is from a major disty that supplies some/most Intel/AMD product to many of the above online retailers. They will be receiving small shipments until about 08/14- 08/16, then they expect to get a ton in.
No - I will not say who the disty is.
whenever anyone sees more links to buy core 2 duo, please post them here so we can consolidate everything into 1 thread. i already saw a thread in general hardware on zzf's core 2 duo!
if anyone wanted to know, im personally trying to secure a E6600. the rest of my build (in my sig) is done and ready to go.
thanks again everyone, and happy hunting!
edit: added tigerdirect and its respective link.
edit 2: added monarch, "saucertek", and atacom...as well as their respective sites. also added availability up to this moment (10:58AM).
edit 3: added supersix's bit of info on availability...did some minor "cosmetic" changes to the post.
edit 4: added links thanks to soydios that tigerdirect is already selling ALL core 2 duos, but all of them are OEM, so buyers...beware!
