That would have been the Islanders in 1980, 1981, 1982, and 1983.

I understand "repeat" and "threepeat" - anybody got a name for 4 in a row?

-500° Fahrenheit (-295° C)
Hell freezes over.
The Toronto Maple Leafs win the Stanley Cup.

Not possible since all molecule oscillations stop at -273C, therorectically of course since the coldest dephts of space are about 4 degrees above absolute zerpo:p

little tidbit for you: the closest scientists have been able to get to absolute zero is two billionths of a degree above absolute zero. cool, huh? :D

I meant for him to rub it in my face that the 'nucks sucked. We did go to the finals in '82, but since then we were really lame in the 80's. Now we rock so he can't say anything :)

I think it's actually 2.7 above absolute zero..

Did you know that the CMB curve is one of the most (if not the most) accurately measured phenomena ever? They've gotten the error bars so small that you have to zoom way in on the curve in order to even see them :)

This thread reminds me of an email my friend sent me. Apparently his friends live in Tor., they were out at some bar and there were a bunch of the Leafs there (he sent me those pics too). At the end of the evening Ed Belfour was completely smashed . They invited him back to their appartment for a couple more, he accepted. There's a whole series of pics of them giving thumbs ups beside a plastered Ed Belfour. It's pure gold! :)
