Chicken BBQ

Chicken breast with skin and ribs. Seasoned with olive oil, salt, provensal spices, garlic and some pepper.
Cooked over lowest heat.
Served with corn on the cob, bread and salad with a good beer.

Turned out A++++

😀

In the south maybe. In most of the country any food cooked over a flame outdoors = BBQ.

I kept things simple today, had some great 94%-lean ground sirloin, so just did some thick juicy burgers cooked medium rare. Topped with cheese, bermuda onions, pickles, lettuce, ketchup and mayo.

Well, it's grilled, not BBQ, but a teryiaki marinated pork tenderloin. Had corn on the cob, sauteed shitake mushrooms and a tomato/roasted red pepper/artichoke salad with it.

Today I grilled bone in new york steak with a Lawry's meat rub, extra salt, and fresh ground pepper. No need for steak sauce. Cooked medium rare.

Well OK. BBQ by definition should be pork but can also be chicken slow cooked over fire from hickory.
Forgive my ignorance when I call grilling BBQ.
My bad.

WTF!

brisket is the perfection of BBQ, and it most definitely is not pork.

If you never ever mentioned where you were from or had it in your profile I would immediately know you are from Texas by this comment 😀

That's what google says so it must be true 😉 But of course everyone has his own definition.
Carry on.

hmmm, dinner last night...

Ribeye, lemon pepper shrimp and rock salt/crack pepper shrimp.

Squash, bell peppers, onions and stuffed tomatoes.

all on the grill.

And yeah - where I come from BBQ = slow cooked pork and nothing else.

grilled pizza (yes pizza - google it).

my fiancee loves it, so we have grilled pizza at least once a week. easier than baking it in the oven and keeps the house cooler too.

PM me if you wanna know more and google doesn't answer your questions.

It's a bit too cold here for BBQ's at the moment. But the last BBQ was huge, six burner BBQ chock full of meat and vege dishes, highlights were the Honey Buffalo sausages, Crocodile Sausages and Kangaroo Sausages. Didn't have the Emu Sausages this time though............
