US lawmakers have forced an anti-trans ‘bathroom bounty’ law into effect, despite a state governor’s veto.

The law requires that individuals bring their Passports, birth certificates, or other relevant medical documents with them when accessing single-sex facilities. If they are deemed in violation of the bathroom ban sex-proving, they could be fined up to $1,000 (£743). Both the wording and enforcement mechanism of this bill is incoherent.

Maybe a good moment to reflect on last January when Boebert and Mace went after a cis woman in the bathroom because they thought she was Sarah McBride. Kansas being what it is, I don't think I'll be too shocked if there's an incident that ends with an exchange of gunfire.

I'm surprised they didn't go for a Trump Gold ID card. The back of each card has a figure from the Trump administration, collect them all now! Only $500 apiece.

Got banned, vacation till march-something but word is he wont be back.
I got banned for two months - then took a little personal time too. I think I said something very mean to one of the last conservatives I hadn't blocked yet. Sometimes you can't say what most of us are thinking 😉

What the heck did he do?

Not really my story to tell, there was a red line and it was stepped on, words were exchanged.

I've been on vacation too, good reminder to not take things so seriously 😉.

Absolute trash people.

Silver lining, the momentum that US society has in the wake of ICE cruelties this should just add to that. People sort of done with the cruelty? So the more they step on the gas....

jfc now this, anything to hurt vulnerable people and make yourself feel powerful

Absolutely pointless performative cruelty. There is no one this helps. Sure is a good thing Kansas has no other problems.

Oh, what's that? They passed massive tax cuts while increasing spending, to the tune of -$500 million per year? Shame, that. It's important to have priorities.

The answer to that is simple, just cut services to bring the budget back in line.

I don't know if this has been posted before, but a DOGE bro is asked to define DEI:

I watched the first 3-4 minutes. It reminded me strongly of:
