I resolve to lose some weight, hook up with a girl I've liked for a while and just to enjoy the year.

I'm gonna stop confusing people with giberish and just lie instead. Oh man, There I go again. Who's gonna get that one. OK OK, I'll translate. I'm gonna stop telling the truth so people can stop pretending they don't have the faintest idea what I'm talking and just come out with comfortable lies that won't need to be obfuscated.

But I still think it's better when only those who want to, catch on.

My resolution is to use my time more efficiently towards my education instead of abusing it; to be specific: no more starcraft or counterstrike or any games of the like!

Cut down on the sarcasm (if possible).
Be nicer to people (if possible/when applicable).
And apparently I don't take compliments very well... I only discovered this after being CORNERED at my friend's party last night and everyone turned on me about it. So, anyway, I will try to accept compliments in a more friendly manner (?).
But I'm still gonna smoke like a chimney and eat red meat, because I don't care.

Mine is just a re-affirmation of the same resolution I made many years ago - the ONLY one I can REALLY keep:

"No More Stupid New Years Resolutions!"

;)

:)

(And I have been the better for keeping it.)

I've decided to stop being so selfish.

So I resolve to spend more intimate quality time Heath Ledger and Matthew Perry.

My resolution is to allow my words to have a greater impact on my listeners and readers. To do that, I propose echewing obfuscated, idiosyncratic esotericisms and my arcane references to nesciently acquired apocrypha.

Also, I hope to come to a greater understanding and awareness of this world and show compassion in my action and inaction.

Cheers ! :)

Mine are fairly typical...The first one is to lose the 15-20 lbs I've gained over the last several years (want to nip this weight thing in the bud) and start getting more serious in my workouts again. The second one is to stop being such a homebody and start going out again more often.
