GA certified.

Edit: they sent out the press release early. Still expected to certify for Biden by 5PM per state law.

Trump is complaining about it on twitter so no shenanigans expected.

Georgia now certified officially (after false-start earlier this afternoon)
Pennsylvania and Michigan are due to be certified on Monday.

If by first thing Tuesday morning, the GSA hasn't concluded ascertainment and immediately released transition access and funds to Biden, it will be past time for Democrats to go for full court both legal and public relations press against the dangerous and unprecedented transition interference, rather than the soft pressure used up until now.

Looks as though Trump struck out with the Michigan lawmakers he invited to the White House.

After White House meeting with Trump, Michigan lawmakers say they are not aware of information that would change election results

Michigan’s top two Republican lawmakers said after meeting with Trump at the White House Friday that they have learned nothing new to change the outcome of the election in their state.

“We will follow the law and follow the normal process regarding Michigan’s electors, just as we have said throughout this election,” Senate Majority Leader Mike Shirkey and Speaker of the House Lee Chatfield said in a joint statement issued late Friday.

The lawmakers traveled to Washington to meet with the president a day after his legal team held a rambling news conference on Capitol Hill making clear that president still hoped to reverse the outcome of the election. The lawyers – Rudolph W. Giuliani, Jenna Ellis and Sydney Powell – said one strategy would be to urge state lawmakers to block certification of Biden’s win and appoint Electoral College electors themselves who support Trump.

In their statement, the Michigan lawmakers also said that their state’s certification process should be “free from threats and intimidation.”

“Allegations of fraudulent behavior should be taken seriously, thoroughly investigated, and if proven, prosecuted to the full extent of the law. And the candidates who win the most votes win elections and Michigan’s electoral votes. These are simple truths that should provide confidence in our elections.”

DUH!

* I was so worried the MI Repubs at the meeting would back the effort to flip electors to Republican ones. That would've messed up the country imo even though another state would still be needed to flip to change the election. So does this mean there are good Repubs or just that they know they would've looked silly trying to flip electors?

There are good Republicans, but these two are NOT them. If they where, they would have never had the meeting with Trump. Which means the last part of your question is yes, they would look "silly". But in all actuality, it wouldn't be looking silly, but straight up criminal corruption if they attempted to flip the electoral votes.

Well I hope the meeting with the Pennsylvania Republicans has the same result, that the electors won't be flipped. But again I'm concerned because the PA Repubs are the ones who were against mail in ballots. But the PA state supreme court overruled them which allowed mail in ballots to go forward. But imo the danger of spreading covid was a good reason to implement mail in ballots in PA. And in other states like CA.

As much as I actually agree that these specific guys are almost certainly trolls, I saw entirely too many people insist with all apparent sincerity that Mo Fing Brooks was a RINO back during the Republican primary for the 2017 Alabama Senate special election to doubt that there are, in fact, folks who genuinely think that Kemp has shown himself to be a RINO.

Oh no! I don't think I could survive.

Honestly, though--I bet those accounts are trolls.

I mean, now Brian Kemp is a RINO? Brian fucking Kemp????

lol. total trolls.
Trumpistas are having serious issues with cognitive dissonance at the moment. Reality is such a bitch to the little snowflakes. All they can do is lash out, maybe throw their mama's down the stairs, this is seriously mentally destabilizing to them

"Plaintiffs ask this Court to disenfranchise almost seven million voters. This Court has been unable to find any case in which a plaintiff has sought such a drastic remedy in the contest of an election, in terms of the sheer volume of votes asked to be invalidated," US District Court Judge Matthew Brann wrote Saturday.

Brann went on to admonish the Trump campaign lawyers for not presenting factual proof for seeking to invalidate so many votes in the key battleground state. "One might expect that when seeking such a startling outcome, a plaintiff would come formidably armed with compelling legal arguments and factual proof of rampant corruption, such that this Court would have no option but to regrettably grant the proposed injunctive relief despite the impact it would have on such a large group of citizens. That has not happened," Brann added. "Instead, this Court has been presented with strained legal arguments without merit and speculative accusations, unpled in the operative complaint and unsupported by evidence."

"In the United States of America, this cannot justify the disenfranchisement of a single voter, let alone all the voters of its sixth most populated state. Our people, laws, and institutions demand more," the judge wrote." At bottom, Plaintiffs have failed to meet their burden to state a claim upon which relief may be granted."

This country is filled to the brim with good, honorable people of all stripes.

Problem is, only need to find a few corruptables to knock it all over.

I keep hearing from republicans in the news media that Donald Trump is only doing in the courts what Hillary Clinton did in the courts back in 2016. NOPE... Hillary Clinton conceded and DID NOT go to the courts to challenge or overturn that election. What Hillary Clinton did was go to the courts to address VOTER SUPPRESSION. During 2016 Democrats discovered a lot of voter suppression and that was what was addressed in the courts because... Democrats did not want voter suppression to continue into future elections. THAT is what Hillary Clinton did and truth be told it was actually the Democrats going to court, NOT some sole effort from Hillary Clinton. So for republicans to claim that Donald Trump is only doing what Hillary Clinton did is in fact totally bull shit. Again, you ignorant republican asses, Hillary Clinton conceded and what Donald Trump is doing in the courts is actually trying to overturn an election. Someone CC this to Mitch McConnell, someone who knows him.

Remember when in unison the Repubs in Congress said "let the voters decide" whether Trump should be successfully removed from office or not due to the incontrovertible evidence proving his guilt during his impeachment hearings?

And now that the voters HAVE decided, the Repubs, true to form, are ratcheting up their hypocrisy to new heights surpassing that disgusting behavior of theirs that they displayed at their latest high court appointment hearings?

And Biden has the nerve to suggest that we should extend the olive branch to them when shackles and ice picks should be extended to them so they can stab themselves in the eye every time they pull those kinds of dick moves. They lost their sense of shame and humility the moment they decided to support Trump and his stupidly executed and widely condemned divisive tactics to keep his cult following loyal and dumb as the rocks they crawled out from under.

LOL

"DO NOT VOTE IN THE GEORGIA RUNOFFS, THE DEEP STATE WILL BE COLLECTING EVERYONE'S INFO. THIS IS A CHARADE, MEANT TO IDENTIFY PEOPLE WHO DON'T VOTE DEMOCRAT," another user wrote. "STAY HOME. OSSOFF AND WARNOCK ARE A SMALL PRICE TO PAY."

Pro-Trump nutbags on Parler calling for a boycott of the GA runoff elections.

Were these people ever successfully toilet trained? What incompetent educator allowed them to pass the second grade?

Rudy has already said he will appeal to the 3rd circuit court and if possible, the SCOTUS. The lulz would be amazing if he attempted to ply this bullshit to the SCOTUS, even a conservative heavy one would deny anything to do with this crap.

More deplorable minions in action at the Wisconsin recount, these people are simply scum.
