New episode tonight! I'm pretty excited

I thought it was kinda lame. The funniest part though -- IMHO -- was when Andy was moonwalking in the parking lot.

i thought it was funny when Toby put his hand on Pam's knee and caressed it and then realized what he was doing and who was around when he was doing it and then he quickly told everyone he was moving to Costa Rica. then he climbed the fence and ran home.

also Dwight dumping out the beer that basketball chick bought for him and then the next thing you know she sucking face with him.

Yeah that toby part was classic. I just love everyone being completely awkward and complete silence. I also loved the part when Andy asked, "Who thinks Angela and I are a better couple than Pam and Jim?"

Ryan on coke was good.. the show can get predictable and I was expecting another awkward sequence when Michael met him at the club, but instead he got all excited and it was surprising.

I was thinking X too, but he said at the end that his "friend" had a drug problem. That leads me to believe that it is something more hardcore.

I wanted to know if Micheal came back and had a surprise in store for the office that Jim messed up.

"And I want to see her topless"

Creed with the line of the night.
Creed has some classic lines, but in the "Gay Witch Hunt" episode when he says:

"I?m not offended by homosexuality. In the 60s I made love to many, many women ? often outdoors in the mud and the rain ? and it?s possible that a man slipped in. There?d be no way of knowing..."

that was his best to date.

Hahaha yea Creed says some ridiculous stuff that cracks me up.

For a second I thought Michael was going to tickle Stanley in the bathroom.

that's what I expected.

the part about tickling until they become friends again, going to church together and getting an ice cream...winnar for the episode.

yea, I think that was the best part in a so-so episode.

Angela cracking up about the man eating cat food? She does such a good job in that super awkward role.

The show is brilliant. The reason for its brilliance in my opinion is that it's "believable" (within reason). Jan's character started as a great 1 dimensional character. She developed into - what i don't think the writers even know.

I hope that this last episode was the prelude to writing her off the show.

One of the many factors that separates brilliant story telling from good story telling is knowing when to keep a character one dimensional and when to develop them. It seems like they hit a logjam trying to develop jan.

An analogy, IMO, to this is the decision to develop the Boba/Jango Fett story line in star wars. I liked the Fetts when we just saw them as badass. just my opinion.

At the same time I thought that her trying to fix the Dundie was an interesting move for the character.

That's what I love about The Office. The characters always have a soft spot where you sort of feel for them:

*Jan trying to glue back the Dundie because after all the psychoness, she loves him
*Jim actually caring for Dwight when he was severely depressed from getting dumped by Angela.
*Michael showing up to Pam's art show... it really touched Pam's heart. I love Michael because he's just a childish yet a sincere character.

and much more that I'm missing.

I love it when the characters seem really real, especially everything between Jim and Pam.

Same here. I thought for sure that would make for one AWKWARD moment as he is whipping it out to take a leak in the urinal.

I bet that shows up on the DVD. With how carefully it was set up it HAD to be filmed, it just didn't make it on the air.
