yeah, that's right. Hype it up and leave the season finale as a cliff hanger.

I hate it when they do that.

IMO It fell apart after season 4. Seems like those that are still watching it are doing so kore out of habit than because it's still good.

Sorry, but this was one of the funniest episodes of Office ever. It was hilarious. Someone mentioned in last week's office thread that they thought Creed would make a good boss and I disagreed. But, I have to admit he was hilarious this episode. The acronym joke left me in tears.

I stopped watching in the later part of season 5. I can't judge the later seasons, but that's when I stopped.

I felt the episode was up to par. Would have been nice if they picked a boss but I guess they wanted the break to think it over. Probably going to be Joe's friend. Was surprised Jim Carey didn't have an interview scene.

I didn't recognize two of the candidates. Who was the old guy that interviewed and the confident guy?

If it was wrapped up nicely less people would have reason to pay attention next season.

Its comedy is repetitive... same kind of jokes over and over again, it got boring around season 4

Jim obvious choice, Joe obviously sees him as above the pack and trusts him to not screw up with selecting the next boss. But when he + Michael were co-managers it sucked.

I hope it's not Darryl.

The old guy was Warren Buffet.

edit: oops, already posted by a couple folks.

Yeah, I hope not either. It looked like that was the direction the episode was going in until he brought in his daughter and tried to sell a sob story to the group. I think that sealed his fate.

I think it's going to be someone that was not interviewed, but if it's anyone that was interviewed it will be the woman. The other guys have too much name recognition and other shows going on. Spader has a new show starting on NBC, Romano has his own show on TBS, Carey does only movies, and of course Buffet was just filler.

The Office is shit. Always has been. Always will be. Overrated shit.

Life fail. Sometimes I feel like this tool offers opinions just for the sake of showing that he has an opinion. Which is ironic since he more than likely has not seriously watched the office enough to offer a valid opinion.

I thought the office was crap until I sat down and seriously watched it. Lack of exposure is just being proud of laziness in disguise.

I agree, the show may have officially lost me as a viewer.

Its just not funny at all anymore. They hype it with Jim Carey and all this, and he's on there for 5 seconds and wasn't even funny. Burn victim Dwight, seriously? I never thought I'd see the day when the only funny person left on the show isn't funny anymore.

I still enjoy the Office, though the last few episodes have not been stellar. I thought the finale was pretty good, and I'm OK with a cliffhanger. I actually think Will Arnett is one of the few actors who could convincingly step into this show without much of a loss, so I kinda hope he is the one. James Spader looked really strange to me - his hairline is odd and he seemed to be carrying a lot of alcohol bloat.

i thought that was a terrible finale. There was nothing final about it. I don't even mind cliff hangers, but i just sort of feel that it ended without even building to it. I laughed at it a bunch, but didn't care for it as the finale and thought it would have been a good regular season episode.

Last nights episode was a total turd. The entire episode spent most of its time interviewing people you knew they weren't going to hire. They could've made that stinker a 30 min episode. It served no purpose to the storyline other than having a bunch of gimmick celebrity cameos.
