I'm 5'10" 155lbs. I'm desperately trying to gain more weight for my wedding ... I consume massive amounts of calories and it does nothing. I sit at home all day for work for over a year and it does nothing. I had 5 hot dogs the day before... and 13 slices of Dominos yesterday (there's 3 left for today) for a total of 3200+ calories in 1 day... and it will do nothing. :|

yes, I'm a fatty, but I've been losing weight pretty consistently for just over a year now. when I graduated college last May, I was close to 400 :-/

At least your trying and it is working so keep it up.

Me I'm 5"10 and 80kg (176lbs) and bulking to 90kg (198lbs) then going to cut to 187lbs ripped and stay at that. Any bigger for me and I wouldn't like it. Too big, not good for my other sports.

I'd like to be 210, I'm working on it... I hate the gym, so I've been playing Roller Hockey and Raquetball on a regular basis... and *trying* to eat better ;)

Hah, this isn't meant to be offensive, but man... I'm the same height, weigh 30 more pounds, and everyone tells me I need to put on some weight. :p

6"00' 165 for the past 8 years I've varied from 155 to 165, never going above 170.

You are likely younger than 30 and still have your high teenager metabolism or it runs in your family to have a high metabolism, the only way to gain weight in your case isn't calories, its a high carb, high protein diet, with few vegies and few fruits. I had to gain 20lb's 9 years ago to bump up weight classes for kick boxing and that's what my trainer had me do.

:Q

Good going! That's a smackload of weight to lose in one year... anything special? Or just a good diet and exercise?

I'm 177ish (5'10") and about 97-100kgs (215-220). I've got extra weight, and it doesn't overly other me, but I do want to trim down to about 90kilos. I can carry extra weight well, as I'm a generally wide through the shoulders kinda guy...

Great going! Keep up the good work.

I'm on that downward spiral of weight loss as well. I'm fat (i voted but not going to say how much on here) But I've lost 15 lbs since march 11. I exercise regularly now. So I have major muscle mass.

I'd say it's 80% diet and 20% exercise. I totally cut out junk food, eating between meals, and eating red meat, which helped significantly.

I've been thinking about taking up jogging on my nights off... mostly because I have nothing else to do at 3 am on a Sunday night. heh.

I'm pretty bulky for my height, yes, but have broad shoulders. Also eat about 4 meals a day, not including 4 protein shakes and a gallon of water a day.

Old pic when I was only 170 lbs, 1.5 years ago
I'll try and get some updated pics and post a before and after thread.

About 6'1" and 180-190LBs (varies). According to the charts that I've seen, I'm at ideal. Though my driver's license still says 120LBs and 5'7"
