I'm tearing up laughing actually. And making a bunch of little kids politiwhores is detestable. Screw these commie teachers.

I'm way more in agreement with the second part of Jonks' post. I really get a sick feeling watching people trying to peddle their views using children as the vehicle no matter what that view is....political, religious, whatever.

If you views cannot be expressed in a way that makes a reasonable, logical case that is based on facts and not just feel-good emotions, then you really don't have much of a case IMO.

I support Obama in this election. If it comes out that this is somehow tied into his campaign (not just a supporter of his), I'll be writing him another letter telling him how badly this sits with me (just like I did with his FISA/telecom immunity switch).

Yeah, he'll spread happiness and freedom to Iran via harsh economic sanctions. Freedom to Americans via wiretapping telephones. Spreading wealth to our children by spending more of their money before they are old enough to even get a job. Oh, and don't forget the $1 billion he spread to Georgia.

I know, me, too :) I think the video is terrible. I hate when parents will peddle their political crap onto kids and take advantage of the fact that kids assume their parents are right so their political views must be right, too.

This is as bad as when union members and activists have their kids out on picket lines.

The kids don't look like they were being coerced, but I still don't like the idea of exploiting them. There was a local McCain committee that had twelve year old kids working a phone bank. When they showed it on tv it looked awkward. I would resent answering my phone and have a kid asking me about my voting preferences. I would probably ask them to hand the phone to an adult that I could complain to.

what does a 'coerced' kid look like? if you tell them Obama is Superman and Santa rolled into one and wouldn't you like to sing a song about him what are the kids going to say?

Obama youth!! Can we make them cute little uniforms and teach them a special salute?

Perhaps we can encourage them to tattle if their parents aren't Obama supporters.

:music: I'd love to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony :music: oops, wrong commercial.

Now those are your real Obamabots or at least the children of them.
