People got free healthcare in the old system and that needs to change. No free health insurance for ANYONE. Everyone who can afford it can pay. If you can't afford it, you will do without it or ask for help from friends.

Once again Hacp harkens back to the good old days when mothers died in childbirth in alarming numbers, when elderly people fended for themselves on the street and people were turned away at hospitals to die on the street.

Do you think costs would go up or down if people were forced to pay more for medical services?

Do you think people should be allowed to receive coverage for pre-existing conditions without bias in terms of pricing?

Do you think insurance should be able to charge more if a person smokes, is obese, etc.?

Do you think that medical costs are at all related to supply and demand?

We won't cut government employee wages because the Unions have Obama right where they want them. We should fire all the union workers and then open up the system to non union workers.


If people are willing to do the same job for less, without a pension for example, then why not?

At least you're honest. I'd like to see some "conservatives" run a campaign of no health care for poor kids and cutting wages for soldiers. That is what they propose, but it's hidden amongst broad platitudes like cutting spending across the board.

In the real world those kind of proposals would never get more than 30% of the vote, which is pretty sick that that many people think their personal luxury is more important than the death of children.

What the hell do these questions have anything to do with me calling out HACP for being a dumbass? Do you see me advocating anything your questions relate to in any other post on these forums? I'm for health care and health care insurance reforms and I've exposed what I think should be done. For insurance I think we should move to a Japanese or French system where health insurance is for non profit. The insurance companies make their profit off their other forms of insurance they sell like auto and home insurance.

I am not a big fan of single payer or single provider system of UHC. I don't want to make yet another lengthy post about my opinions so search for my previous posts if you really do care about my opinion.
