The Obama Administration discrimination begins.

You get the government you vote for. Seems Obama was voted in due to his color, and now it looks as if parts of his Administration are actively working towards segregation and financial aid based solely on color.

In this case of course its whitey who they want to deny jobs and economic aid to. Fortunately the middle class are too busy working to notice their about to get robbed from and discriminated against.

Now, someone tell me again how *I'M* the racist for simply pointing out what is happening in society. All that talk from Obama about a new start, working together, looks like it did exactly what it was supposed to do.

Sounds like all Reich was saying is that any awards for infrastructure contracts should be inclusive and not just plopped into the hands of the good ol' boy network. btw, highly skilled people in this country are composed of members from every racial and ethnic group.

You apparently don't know that under existing federal law, governments are already frequently REQUIRED to give preference to "small disadvantaged businesses" (i.e., small businesses owned by disabled persons or minorities). This preference originated with the Small Business Act, signed into law by a Republican, Dwight Eisenhower. All Reich is saying is that people OTHER than white males should be able to participate in infrastructure projects under Obama's stimulus package, not that white males should not.

I find it disappointing (if not surprising) that we are already hearing so many spurious complaints of "racism" against the Obama administration. I had no idea that they'd be THIS baseless, however.

If you are not a minority and are still poor, applying for equivalent benefits and/or programs will be a heck of an uphill battle.
