I heard this.....

there was a mix a while ago where they mixed both songs on top of each other......

They do have the same chord progression....

that said, Noel should shut his mouth because half of his songs are a mirror reflection of other people's songs (intro to Don't Look Back in Anger is so obvious).

I can't even reason why Oasis got that popular. A lot of 90's bands got playtime, does that make all of them excellent? No, they created controversy by being aholes.
Greenday is a bunch of media darlings for their political rhetoric.

One blockbuster record and pretty decent sales on the other. Now album sales != quality, but a lot of people do like Oasis.

and i just listened to the mashup. although the song is ok, the quality is horrible. No dynamic range. I prefer each song separately
