Now that I've calmed down enough to think about it, I don't think it's that simple. (Seriously, the video unsettled me.)

I think it's just group-think. If everyone does it, no matter how silly, it becomes uncomfortable to say anything about it. I bet if someone were to interview an individual from that mob, they'd renounce what they just did.

I don't know or care to know who john lewis is, but after watching a minute or so of the vid, I figure the guy was REALLY SLOW....... so.. maybe that's why they had to repeat everything?
