These occupy protests won't get anything accomplished if it takes them three minutes to say one sentence. That would drive me crazy.

I don't know or care to know who john lewis is, but after watching a minute or so of the vid, I figure the guy was REALLY SLOW....... so.. maybe that's why they had to repeat everything? Tho, one of the comments made me laugh, they were forgot to repeat it in spanish! haha sigh, anyway, I couldn't take watching this for the full 10 minutes. so... For those that did ... congrats!
Seriously? John Lewis is kind of a big deal. He's led dozens if not hundreds of peaceful protests demanding equal opportunity, NOT seized and redistributed wealth, protests that involved celebrating the American flag (as opposed to burning it or defecating on it) and asked the country to live up to its stated ideals. Protests where police were not attacked, where Lewis has several times been beaten bloody whilst peaceably demanding equality.

I don't agree with his redistributionist policies after he achieved his civil rights goals, but he's a great American. Everyone should know who he is and what he has done.

Megaphones were banned in the New York protests so they decided to repeat a person's words so everyone could hear. Since these guys had a megaphone, I'm not sure why they were doing it. It doesn't make long speeches very practical, lol.

Of course, the right wingers who are laughing at the protesting sheeple are too dull to realize that they, too, are sheeple.

Seems to me they were practicing for the real thing but allowing everybody to hear the first call out instead of only the repeat since they were not prevented from using a horn.

so there was a reason for them to do this after all. and those critical of them now just look kinda dumb.

Especially if you had heart palpitations over this - lmao

Yup, but don't worry, they actually wanted to be outraged. All that inner psychopathology has be crapped out somewhere. Nobody would be as big of assholes and imbeciles as these nuts we see here without it being an art form of intent.

Except no, no they aren't.

"The participants of the event are mainly protesting against social and economic inequality, corporate greed, and the influence of corporate money and lobbyists on government, among other concerns."

Headless, leaderless, no real direction except: damnit, I'm unhappy and its my right to be happy!

Sheeple. BAAA

LOL Pretty much. Look at my ability to chant back what other people say. I should be making the big bucks, not those Wall Street guys.
