The next Battlefield game- yea or nea- trailer inside!!

Well I think that the Mech thing may be a bit cheesy/over the top but it depends on how they work it into the game. The invisible guy thing is pretty neat and a new twist. I would definetly play a demo if they come out with one. Thoughts??

Being an EA title, im going to wait a year after its release so:

1. its cheaper
2. its playable
 
Well here we go - another EA game.

I believe this game would be awesome... if gamers had stood up for themselves one of the many times that EA has released an unfinished piece of bugged out trash. If gamers would say through their actiosn that they wont stand for games that have severe problems that are never fixed or when a fix did come it would be months after owning the game. If gamers wouldnt support a company that in the past has stopped supporting a product even though it has been out only a very short time.

I will never buy an EA title again. I havent bought one in years. Fall 06 I suspect there will be a lot of BF2142 problem posts just as there was with the previously BF title.

Unless they do a NFS:MW and stop supporting it. I think i'll wait for the first patch, unless it comes in a tin (limited edition) box with some extras, then I might plump for it earlier.
 
this one will be just okay but the NEXT one(once they fix all the bugs and add in space battles with the ground/mech/air stuff) will rock.
 
Hehe looks like EA is developing quite a reputation for buggy software.(And I would not dispute that). Space battles would be a cool addition. Has any developer ever been able to do a good job on a fps space battle?

What about the invisible guy thing? What do you peeps think about that?

And to the Quake Wars fans- yep that looks awesome and if I can play a demo that is as exciting as the trailers are I will definitley buy it- but are you saying Quake instead of this because it looks like garbage or Quake in addition to this because it looks interesting enough to check it out?
 
it looks crap :! it will fail like how battlefront failed. i have played many mods that have tried to make that type of setting and it just doesn't work. no real funfactor.

its not ea , its dice :! that developing team is screwed :! all BFseries had huge bug but only 2 BF games i have loved and that is BF1942 and BF2. But i love bf1942 more than BF2.

Yeah I agree with you there. The more I read and understand the game industry it seems that DICE is more responsible for the bugs and crappy patches than EA is. EA has botched a few others lately though too. Maybe it will get better after EA actually owns DICE as they are in the process of buying them? Worse? I dunno. And it took me a long while to leave 1942 for BF2 even after I had BF2 I still played 1942 a lot more...

What about the invisible guy tuteja1986? You know- like he's INVISIBLE!!

but hell, I'll probably buy it and I'll probably enjoy it alot 😀

Battlefield1942 was one of the better games games I have played in a few years
Battlefield2 was ok, more of the same just a refreshement of the same gameplay

Hope this new one will bring some gameplay enhancements, something new
