Hmm, I'm going to have to relearn the directions I give out to the forums.

No longer "communities" it's now "forums".

It looks like it's optimized for 1024x768, it fits perfectly at that res.

Very, very nicely done.

Not bad, but I don't like the buttons at the top. Less professional looking.

And the blue bar kind of a space waster. Too big.

Looks pretty good though. :)

The old one dynamically resizes when you change your res, this one is hard coded to 1024x768 :( If you're set to anything higher..which I am, then you're left with two not so attractive dark green columns on the sides. Also, I'm not too fond of the tabs.

It's not too bad, in fact, I like the color scheme and new layout. A minor complaint is that the main page is kind of long, but that's not really a problem. My main issue with it is that I hate having to maximize my browser at 1152x864 just to avoid horizontal scrolling. Please make it dynamically resizing; the way it is set up now with the fixed 1024 (minus a few) pixel width just totally sucks much worse than anything else. :|

Oh, to say something else good: I'm glad to see a Team AnandTech link back on the navbar. That almost is enough to make me forgive and forget the fixed width problem. ;)

Thanks very much, Zuni. :D

Its not bad. but giving it a set resolution is horrible. It should fix to your browser size like it used to.

Eh it's ok. I was expecting a bit more. looks a bit the same

heh, I keep looking at the main page to see if there's something I don't like :p I can't really complain though, the people here at anandtech really does a good job and I appreciate everything anandtech offers. just take my opinions as constructive criticism :D

with that said, here's another one:

this site seems as though it was designed by 2 different designers. You have the new navigational bar with new link style(left column) and new banner with new tabs. Then you have the old main body look and old link style on the right column. Not very symmetrical...but that's also the style they teach in design school. 1st thing they say is don't make everything symmetrical!

its rare that i actually visit anandtech.com . i notice its not 800x600 compliant, but it shouldnt matter since majority uses 1024x768 res or higher anyways

It looks nice!

The "IT Computing" section needs some updated content, though. Can you put some new Operating System reviews in there?
