The New Windows (SP2) Firewall <VS> Norton Personal Firewall

Since SP2 I have thought over and over again whether the new and improved Windows Firewall will undoubtedly replace the pricey store bought firewall. Would it be necessary to renew the subscription?
 
I will have to check that out. I don't want use windows firewall and paying for Norton is getting to be a pain in the butt. Thanks for the recommendation!!!!
