The new Winamp

I LIKE THE LLAMA!!!!! 🙂 Not sure why the llama noise is coming out of his butt, tho. WHAT IS THAT???

My worry, is the extent to which "reenenergized' may be a euphemism for increasingly messed up over time.:|

It wasn't broke.....DO NOT MESS WITH IT.

The question isn't 'is it broke' but 'shouldn't it have been fixed a long time ago'?

What I'm jonesing for a real Windows management software. jRMC has become distracted by catering for the other previous-gen platforms and anything cross-platform just ignores the most useful features of Windows in user interaction. Mediamonkey seems to be the closest thing, but the metro client is basic.
 
What are you two talking about? What should have been fixed? What Windows management? We are talking about music player here.

I'm just saying that maybe it's a good idea if Winamp didn't continue to be the Steven Tyler of music players.
 
Can you elaborate on that a bit? I've been using Winamp since version 2, and couple months ago started using its library, and am pretty much happy with it. What's wrong?
 
I like the new site.

All I want from a new Winamp is a new theme though. Everything else works perfectly and has worked perfectly for 10 years at least.

As picky as I am, I also care more about the cake than the icing, form is meant to honor function. I use the oldest theme/skin there is.....and, within that, the color options are infinite.

IF IT WORKS, DON'T FIX IT. We've all seen the opposite happen countless times in past. Perfectly balanced looking websites turning into messy unusable junk just because the owners thought it was necessary to be innovative is one of the best examples.

When, a while back here, we learned Winamp was terminal---before we learned it had been sold and had new lease on life---I felt terrible, tried several new apps thinking I had to....hated them all....and felt even worse.

I like carrot cake, so I choose it often, but That don mean it is stale.:biggrin:

I like you spell like a Brit. A lot of my clients are across the pond. I even say stuff like SPOT ON! now. 😉

And........I LUV ME MY WINAMP.:biggrin:
