Since you posted here I must tell you I feel obligated to warn you the color is a bit iffy.

I used to HATE the Bianchi green, but it's growing on me.

Plus, they're a sponsor, so any other color was not an option. :p

There's a few things you don't know about Fausto. ;)

I could make a thread titled "I've perfected nuclear fusion, the world will have limitless clean energy forever." and you guys would find a way to mention my ass within 10 posts. :p

I still haven't decided on a new saddle (my old one is pretty trashed).

Try the SMP Strike Evolution or Composit, although hella expensive (200+), it is worth it on your boys. ;) If you know what I mean...

I'm actually thinking about a Fizik Arione. Several of my teammates have them and swear by them

Nice looking...

I'm building a trike, so my seat will be more comfortable :) but the components you have there make mine look like Fisher Price junk.

Dammit, now I'm going to have to justify buying a road bike to the wife. I rebuilt my MTB last year and had to basically crawl on my belly across a broken glass filled acid spill to get that done.

The only reason I was able to get this past the Spousal Accounting Sensors was that I got it for way less than retail via the team.

What would you recommend for a decent "starter" road bike? I know you're locked in with Bianchi (and for good reason), but I like some of the Kestrel designs, too. I currently have just a Cannondale MTB that I swap slicks onto for road work, but I'm looking to expand my garage.

Honestly, just figure out how much you can spend and then start digging around. It's all about what appeals to you and what kind of riding you want to do.

That's what's going on my new road bike. I haven't actually tried one out yet though.
