He's a Cleveland native so all the local radio stations have been playing this song for 6+ months. We've been sick of it for a while now, even though it's only recently gotten national play .🙂

Although I'm not a fan, up until around 2000 I used to have respect for rap music. Artists like Common and Talib Kweli actually made good music. But since then it's all gone down hill. The Superman song by Soulja Boy made rap into something for middle school kids when there used to be good artists making music in the 1990s. The bright colorful hooded sweatshirts they're wearing now don't help either.

Common is still good imo, and beyond that you just need to look harder these days. Artists like Sage Francis, Aesop Rock and El-P put out awesome stuff.
