okay-- here are the rules (dug up from a previous potpourri thread)

To the uneducated (stupid) I'll explain how to do it.
The first person (moi) asks a question. Can be about anything. (General knowledge trivia. Nothing stupid like "How many pimples do I have on my butt.") Thank you.
The first person to submit a correct and appropriate response gets the "baton".
He/she then asks the next question, and needs to stick around until the next person gets the answer, thus the baton is passed once again.
The person asking the question should honestly know this information. You should not do an obscure search on the internet for your question and answer. The person/s wanting to answer may use any research materials they may/may not have at their disposal.
Ok, enough blather. Here's the first question.

Who was the fifth man to walk on the moon?

EDIT--- dont edit your messages--- it gets to complicated, just post a new message to avoid complications of who posted the right answer first.

Ok I will pull one from American History. When George Washington died who delivered his eulogy that contained the famous phrase "first in war, first in peace, and first in the hearts of his countrymen"?

<< What was Harry Truman's middle name? >>

Mr. Truman apparently initiated the "period" controversy in 1962 when, perhaps in jest, he told newspapermen that the period should be omitted. In explanation he said that the "S" did not stand for any name but was a compromise between the names of his grandfathers, Anderson Shipp Truman and Solomon Young. He was later heard to say that the use of the period dated after 1962 as well as before
