XBOX 360 and Media Center 2005 in bed together. - In what is some of the more exciting news for the XBOX 360, it will serve as a hub for all things digital media if you have a PC equipped with Microsoft's Media Center 2005. Thanks to Queasy's thread.
First details on Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core
Revolution details emerge.

* For those who would rather just pop in their hard copy of Mario Sunshine, Nintendo offers a simple solution: backward compatibility. As indicated before, Revolution, like the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, will be able to play all the games from the current-generation GameCube, as well as DVDs through its blue-LED-illuminated front-loading media drive, though the unit wil require "an internal attachment" to play movies.
First GameBoy Micro pic. (Personal opinion here, what the hell is Nintendo thinking?)
* Nintendo also revealed a new edition of its Game Boy Advance handheld. The Game Boy Micro shrinks the already diminutive Game Boy Advance down further, and still retains the functions of the Game Boy Advance SP. The unit is slightly larger than an iPod mini at four inches wide, two inches tall, and .7 inches deep, and can fit easily into gamer's back pockets.
* The unit, which weighs a mere 2.8 ounces, will play all Game Boy Advance games and will have customizable faceplates. However, there are no new multimedia functions to speak of. As Fils-Aime put it, the Micro is "a hip new way to show off your portable passion." The Micro will be released this fall.

XBOX 360 info now coming in from their press conference this evening.
- Within the 3-month launch window, between 25 and 40 games will be available for the XBOX 360.
- There are more than 160 in development for Xbox 360 from first-, second-, and third-party teams. Namco, Konami and Capcom (Dead Rising) are officially supporting the console as well.
- FFXI is confirmed to be headed for the X360. From IGN: "Japanese RPG giant Square Enix will create role-playing games for Xbox 360, starting with Final Fantasy XI with full Xbox Live compatibility. The game's content will remain the same, but obviously the graphics will see immense changes and improvements. Additional Square Enix games will follow."
- Xbox 360 officially will be backward compatible with the prior system's top-selling games, said Microsoft's Vice President Peter Moore. Microsoft will pick and choose only the most popular Xbox titles from its huge backlist of games and will most likely use emulator software for those limited titles.
Sorry guys, but at the time of this last post before I go to bed, there just aren't that many XBOX 360 screens available. There are a few, so I'll post a couple. More will come at a later date, so don't mistake my PS3 enthusiasm for fanboism.

First up, is Nintendo playing games with us? Will they be showing their system after all? A link to confuse us even more.
And Square-Enix reveals their official line-up for E3, with quite a few games. Their official lineup.

Once again, warcrow is finding some little tidbits about E3 as it creeps closer. Remedy is now ready to show their next game at this year's convention. Being well known for their Max Payne series, it doesn't currently look like a 3rd installment.

Hey guys. Warcrow has commissioned me to take over an official E3 thread, seeing as to how his wedding will interfere with the goings-on of the biggest gaming convention of the year. And to kick it off, warcrow has tipped me off a little bit of gaming news that I found quite interesting myself.
Nintendo backing away almost completely from this year's E3?
Looks as if Nintendo thinks Sony and Microsoft will have a bit of penis-envy after they show what they've got up their sleeve. Although you might wonder what Nintendo could possibly have that they think is so great, it looks like we'll have to wait a bit more to find out. I would think everyone is so far along in their console plans by now that it'd be too late to start adding stuff.

Under the hood of the Unreal Engine 3 on the PS3.Sony also unveiled the PS3's graphics chip, the RSX "Reality Synthesizer based on Nvidia technology. The GPU will be capable of 128bit pixel precision, 1080p resolution, some of the highest HD resolution around. It also has over 300 million transistors lager than any processor available commercially today. It was manufactured using the 90nm process with 8 layers of metal. The RSX is more powerful than two GeForce 6800 ultras, which would cost rough $1000 if bought today
