I agree with getting the best price on a retail CPU...... but New Egg has too much to lose if they f*** up too much. I've been dealing with them for years without 1 problem ever.

3-4 mths to go before I upgrade................. The price will be "MY PRICE" at that time so it will be perfect ;)
No one can expect any one E-tailer to be perfect but NewEgg is close and alot of you Bash them. I bet if you searched through all these Bashers threads of the past, you would see alot of kneeling to the King.................. New Egg :p The Egg may be cracked a little from hype, but respect will always be there no matter how hard the fall.

A newegg fanboy. That's a first, isn't it? BTW, it seems as if the people who work at newegg really do read these or other forums. And since their credibility was absolutely gone from the people who are always linking others to their site (us, and the regulars on every other site like this), they were in quite a quandry.

They could have made $5-10,000 extra this month, and possibly next month, then lose $1-2 million per month in referrals, or they could go back to what made them the #1 place on earth to buy DIY computer products: price. Hmmm, I wonder what made them change their mind?:roll:

E6600 in india for 15500 rupees. 1$=>46Rs, but <47Rs

E6600 arriving in about a week or so.

In India E6600 is cheaper that means, E6300 around Rs.10000

What do you expect?

Everyone will jump at them if they don't meet the demand by increasing prices.

Those seem to be the same prices at Microcenter. I'm going to the local Microcenter tonight to see what they have.

Newegg has NEVER been a bottom-price vendor. Thats almost always reserved for more shady type operations. This is the first time I remember what looked like outright gouging from the egg. Very dissapointing, but hopefully they've learned their lesson.

The only thing I find very disappointing is the amount of people that visit here that are in such dire need of taking a business economics class.
