It's because he makes bold statements in the subject line and can't always back it up.
How can back up an opinion? I make bold statements because I have a question and many people might have the same question and are afraid to ask. I have ideas and the same goes for that.
I posted AA sucks because It didn't get rid of all the jaggies and that they were visibly noticeable because AA higher than 4x doesn't work at resolutions higher than 1024x768. I play at 1280x960. So when I tested AA 8x at my playing resolution, the driver defaulted to no AA and of course I thought it looked like crap. Now, I have tested 8x AA with 1024x768 and everything does look completely Anti-aliased and beautiful, just like I thought it was supposed to be. It was a stupid thread on my part because I acted quickly, but I did learn a lot and I had fun.
I've been playing Medal of Honor for such a long time since before it came out for PC with it PSX release. I love and I still am fond of the atmosphere and all the historical facts that come with it. Then I went back to it after a while of not playing and all it's fault show. I still enjoyed playing, but many thing really frustrated me. I came to post them. I just thought it was interesting to go back after 6 months of playing only DOD, the only thing I had that the Voodoo5 could handle, and just find such great a difference in AI, obviously and gameplay.
I apologize about saying it wasn't a Quake III engine, because it is. I just remember talking about it in a thread, but I remembered the wrong game. That sucks on my part. If ever there was that big of an opposition against my arguement, I would go look it up, questioning my memory, as I did just now and you were correct.
About the graphics remark. I only have one machine with one graphics card company installed in it, and I don't remember it being any different since I haven't played it with an ATI card since 2002 when MOH first came out.
