The new MOH experience doesn't match the nostalgaic experience of 2002.

I hate to go off topic but I heard about this and fixing it. I could do a google search, but I'd rather hear from the people here what they use and what works best--what do you use to fix this?

That game is a performance hog BFG, lol.
What on earth does that have to do with the fog/haze issues? I wasn't even talking about performance.

Many people have stated on all types of hardware and I will state it as well. Choppy unless played at 1024 x 768 at medium details.
Well since we're already talking about performance, I may as well state that I run MOHAA, Spearhead and Breakthrough at 1792 x 1344 x 32 with 16x AF (no shadows and no AA) and it runs just fine most of the time, except for occasional slowdowns when things get demanding. Most of the time it's easily above 50 FPS.

Now, in Breakthrough, I'm running low on bullets to the point of me being bullet bankrupt, wtf is that. I kill enemies who don't leave any ammunition behind. Bug or EA retardedness? Eitherway it's their fault. How am I supposed to fight people without ammo?

Everything on at the highest in Game

Slowdown experienced in some rare instances.

Sometimes guns do drop, other times they don't. It's by design. Make every bullet count, cycle your guns thoroughly and pay extra attention to places that look like they could have ammo clips there.

If you race through the game and waste ammo then you will have problems.

That's not realistic though. I see what they do when they get killed; they throw the weapons away and they disappear. AMAZING. I am forced to use the garand sometimes which sucks ass in the game. And the game is plagued by stiff control of the character.

This is also the first time it has ever happened to me. Only in Breakthrough, I more than half way through the game and barely get by with ammo. I don' think I had as big a problem, if any, with Spearhead and I know I didn't have a problem with the base game.

I am sooo pissed. Not only am I always out of ammo, so I have to resort to using a slow ass sniper rifle against this type of AI. AI is furious, abrupt, AIM is more precise than the finest watch. The tip of your hat pops out and you get it blown off. Very aggressive. It's on medium by the way, Imagine Hard. Hah. In this game the garand seems to be more automatic than the BAR. I don't get EA. Damn Crappy AI.

Many people survive the sniper rifle too. It takes two shots per person in the torso for them to die. WTF is up with that. I was aiming for a tank with a bazooka and this guy got in the way and he got hit with it and survived and just shook himself like nothing. WTF is that crap.

I should direct EA to this forum, dam lazy asses.

This friend AI shot the enemy five times with a pistol and he didn't die, instead I had to shoot him and waste as much ammo as if he was never shot by the friend. Terrible. How come my friend AI isn't as aggressive. You fight against the enemy, they mean business. That fight like they hate the crap out of your guts. But the friend AI dies in two shots and you get to face the entire army by yourself, how wonderful.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOhhhh. Goddammit, Damn EA.

What a moron....why would you waste your time beating a game that sucks vian??? You b*tched and whined about all these bugs and bad performance and this and that...jesus stfu no one cares about you, nor the performance of it on your kindergarten rig. It was a great game in it's day...and when I'm playing a game like that I don't sit there with a pen and paper and write down every little downfall to the game as I have this thing called...life....that makes me not care a whole lot...as long as the game is fun and keeps me entertained, it has done it's job. :)

It's because he makes bold statements in the subject line and can't always back it up. For example... his "AA sucks" post or whatever the origional title was.

The gaming experience is highly subjective, and his opinion is a as valid as anyone else's, so no need for the Ad Homs.

His wrong opinions are valid?

"Not even a Quake 3 engine"

"Graphics. Terrible. I'm in this level that is supposed to be foggy, and my weapon is also foggy and it's in front of my eyes, but you can still see a distance. Some thick fog or BS. It's like an overlay on the screen - way to go EA."
A video card problem since no foggy weapons here. Not a game problem.

How can back up an opinion? I make bold statements because I have a question and many people might have the same question and are afraid to ask. I have ideas and the same goes for that.

I posted AA sucks because It didn't get rid of all the jaggies and that they were visibly noticeable because AA higher than 4x doesn't work at resolutions higher than 1024x768. I play at 1280x960. So when I tested AA 8x at my playing resolution, the driver defaulted to no AA and of course I thought it looked like crap. Now, I have tested 8x AA with 1024x768 and everything does look completely Anti-aliased and beautiful, just like I thought it was supposed to be. It was a stupid thread on my part because I acted quickly, but I did learn a lot and I had fun.

I've been playing Medal of Honor for such a long time since before it came out for PC with it PSX release. I love and I still am fond of the atmosphere and all the historical facts that come with it. Then I went back to it after a while of not playing and all it's fault show. I still enjoyed playing, but many thing really frustrated me. I came to post them. I just thought it was interesting to go back after 6 months of playing only DOD, the only thing I had that the Voodoo5 could handle, and just find such great a difference in AI, obviously and gameplay.

I apologize about saying it wasn't a Quake III engine, because it is. I just remember talking about it in a thread, but I remembered the wrong game. That sucks on my part. If ever there was that big of an opposition against my arguement, I would go look it up, questioning my memory, as I did just now and you were correct.

About the graphics remark. I only have one machine with one graphics card company installed in it, and I don't remember it being any different since I haven't played it with an ATI card since 2002 when MOH first came out.

And this is why people pick on you. I'm not saying you're an asshole, I was just answering the question I quoted. People picked on you in that thread because you made a bolt statement based on inaccurate/incomplete information. Had you said "why does 8X AA look no different than no AA at all?" you wouldn't have had any negative comments made towards you... but instead, before you understood the situation, you said "AA sucks."

*EDIT* In fact, I agree with you about this thread... 50% of EA's games don't run as they're intended or are sub-standard.

Idk, to me it looked a little better, but not great. Tell you one thing though, it gets people's attention.

How do you like the new title?
