The *New* Guild War Thread

With the new expansion announced, and all the drifters are done with their 2 weeks of playing guild wars, lets get some dedicated and serious people and play together.

I just left my guild and started my own. Should have a guild hall in a week or so.

Anyone in need of a guild? I am online 5-6days a week, so i am always online.. how sad

i have a small but very active guild going, we're just starting out, so we don't have that many members yet, but we're growing.

My main character's name is "R Langdon", if intersted in joining, leave your current guild and post your char name here and i will send you an invite.

We do alot of PvE, breaking into PvP, and want active players to do underworld and fissure runs.

Sorry buddy. I guess I was one of those drifters you were talking about.
I played sporadically for 3 weeks right when the game came out.

Its just too damn slow and uninteresting for me. And I hate having to be online for a game that is basically single-player.
The graphics in Morrowind might not be amazing anymore, but at I feel like I'm making progress towards a goal. And theres a lot more action when running around.

Had you caught me a month ago I would have been very interested in an Anandtech Guild.

No monthly fees, but expansions that are, in theory, almost required to buy. See the pattern?

you don't have to, it work's like normal games with expansion packs. the original content is still playable.

edit- and anything as far as the release of the expansion is news to me. Sorrow's Furnace is comeing out but thats a free update not a pay for expansion.

We are trying to get a full squad for some pvp action.

there are plenty of things to do in this game, you just don't know about it. I have yet to completely finish a uw run or a fissure run, many skills left to cap, etc, etc.

why do you need 3 copies of the game? how many combinations can you do with only 5 professions... statistics101.. permutations.. nvm i forgot

My friend and I have recently got into guild wars and were playing through the coop before going to pvp. Actually he has already played the pvp a lot but I got the game after him so were building up our characters together now.

I might be interested. I stopped actively playing when I ascended and haven't done any missions since. My primary character is a Ranger/Warrior that uses swords. Sounds silly perhaps but I'm usually the last one alive in the random 4v4 arenas. The guild I was in was pretty good but no one plays anymore.

I'm already in a Guild since my buddy comes over and plays the game more than I do and joined one. Of course, that's just after he got booted from his last guild for straight-up talking sh*t to the leader. So when he gets booted from this one (it will happen), I shall give you a PM.
