Prettier to look at, harder to use.

For instance, no little human to drag & drop for street view. Without it, how do I know which street is available on street view?

Second, no search result list. This is a biggie for me. It's much easier to work through the list and see the location of each search result rather than panning around the map to find them.

Is there a way to revert to the old map?

I noticed the font changes first. Hate it. And to add to the obstructive text, there's more of it.

Please, Google, tell me why you needed to make up a name for areas of my city that have never had names? Who sits around and comes up with this shit? There is seriously a 'neighborhood' name for like every group of twenty houses, even when they aren't even part of a subdivision or anything.

I'm not seeing any difference. You're talking Google Maps and not Google Earth, right?

Chances are the neighborhoods always had names but just were never formally referred to as those names.

How about just draw me a map and let me use it.
<--uses Bing maps anyway :p

I use OpenStreetMaps, and sketch my own map showing only the stuff I want to see. It's less cluttered, and commits the map to memory better than just looking at a generated sheet.
