The new forums are ugly

Is there any plan to change the way this looks? The look and feel smacks of cheapness.

umm it looks 95% like FT did, and honestly the 5% that looks different is better looking. I actually have an Avatar that doesn't look like it was drawn by a 9 year old with Down Syndrome.

Yea...back when FT was updated frequently, we all hated the new updates too. I hated the most recent one that stuck around for so long. I actually like this better than the latest incantation of FT so its all good.

I agree they are ugly as sin compaired to what they could of updated to. These forums are about the second only to fuzetalk in terms of bottem of the barrel. Its kind of silly they 'upgraded' to this after so long.

They went from "1998 forums" to "2003 forums"... It would be sweet if it were 2003. But its not. Its 2009.

But really, I think if they opened up a donation service for a month or two ALOT of people would have tossed in some cash and we could of gotten a much better more comfortable and better customizable forum. Slightly closer community as well, haveing helped bring it good stuff.

I agree. The sidebar was nice. I didn't have to scroll a bunch to get to different sub forums. Everything's too chunky with this setup. Everything's twice as big as it need to be, including the white space.
