A. Is a sneaky way of switching from the more expensive "all steel" can to a piece of cheap plastic.
B. Will literally give me a rust-free pot-to-piss-in.
C. Makes a nice holiday gift for trailer sluts to exchange at their next "Yearly Food Stamp Review" down at the welfare office.
D. Costs less, allowing the good folks down at Proctor & Gamble to "pass the savings on to you" by reducing the amount of coffee that they put in these containers the next time you aren't looking.

I do like the easy grip handles on moulded into the sides, that way I can hold onto it more securely as I take a dump in it

Seriously though, think of all the folks with arthritis that have trouble holding onto those big cans.

My dad works in a P&G warehouse (handling mainly cosmetics and shipments that ended up at the wrong building) and some trucker left them a load of these new 'cans'. They use 'em as coffee mugs on the night shift now

They're THAT much smaller
