I just formatted my computer and downloaded aim. I don't like the new version, it sucks. Do ya'll know where I can download a previous version of aim? Thanks
 
I dont' know how it got there but I had a gain folder in my start menu after I downloaded some programs after my format last night. I dont' know how it go there, I didn't put it there. How did it get there, lol

You can remove it, but you can't play the Games in AIM.

Ive been using the new AIM with the "spyware" removed for awhile. Also using Middle Man. Seems to work ok with the new AIM.
 
The new version of AIM has no spyware. Just uncheck the boxes that say "AIM Games" and "Weatherbug" when you install, and no additional programs will be installed. The only thing you'll need to clean up afterwards is the AOL Icons that get dumped everywhere.
