The Need For Vista

I have Windows Vista Beta on the way... and I have a laptop, to be specific...

ASUS M6R Series

Intel Pentium M 1.5 GHz
ASISTeK Computer M6R Mobo, chipset : Radeon RS300
384MB RAM
40GB HD
Matsushita UJ-831-D
ATI Mobility Radeon 9100 IGP
SoundMAX Digital Audio (?)
Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG Wifi

It should work, but what drivers are required? and how do I use them when the install asks for them (apparently, If it needs them...)

and when I install it, can I UPGRADE, change XP to Vista? and if I cant, what can I do?? Install over XP? can I have an option to boot either one (which is a last resort!)

And will it run smooth?

I used the very first beta on my laptop for a while. Ran pretty good. I have a Gateway 1.3ghz celeron M, 512mb ram, intel extreme graphics and 40gig hard drive. Should run great on your machine.

when you say REQUIRES do you mean there HAS TO BE A SEPERATE GPU or YOU HAVE TO HAVE A MORE POWERFUL GPU?

if its HAS TO BE A SEPERATE GPU, the ATi X300 Chipsetters wont be too pleased!

And the kewl Aero glass theme would be nice ;)

What do you think on the compatibility side of things?
