I wish he had gone to New York. D'Antoni would have gotten the most out of him. I view D'Antoni as someone having the same idea as Nelson, but more organized.

Curry on the wing, Lebron running down the middle, and some free agent point guard running the show. Could have been nice.

Sounds like Hinrich is going to Portland, Tyrus Thomas to Utah, and Boozer to Chicago.

When the fuck did this happen? ESPN is blocked!

McDyess to San Antonio? Fizzzzuck, that makes them more of a threat. Big men to throw around are always valuable.

Yea SA needed another big man since they gave them all away for Jefferson. SA still isn't as good as the Lakers but it's just another good piece to add. With a healthy roster, I think this puts them second in the West.

Wait, what did you just say?

Laker's didn't do anything this offseason - except lose Ariza and potentially Odom.

Artest is washed up, he's a ballhog and nowhere near as good of a defender as he used to be.

LOL, this is coming from the guy who believes Ginobili had a hall of fame career in the NBA.

I never said he'd get in because of his NBA career, I said he'd get in to the Basketball Hall of Fame because of his basketball career.

I'd love to flame you, and be a dick because I know it's what you want - but I'd rather not be banned. As far as I'm concerned, your ass should be banned for being as antagonistic as you have been towards me.

Boozer to Chicago would be huge. It's a post threat they've been missing since...ever. Losing Gordon hurts from an instant offense perspective, and Heinrich is a very underrated defender so that's a loss too. Thomas is an undisciplined punk who's only saving grace is his ability to jump through the ceiling of the United Center.

this year, we got lucky that KG wasn't healthy, because the celtics would have kicked our asses in the finals again. unless we make some moves, or bynum develops into a beast in the middle, i think we're looking at a spurs vs celtics final.

Celtics won't see the finals again for quite a while.

Next year isn't that far away.

Exactly.

On the other hand, 5-10 years is quite a while away. ;) This group is too old, and when they don't get there in the next couple years, Ainge will be on the bubble again, and with or without him, Celts will be a rebuilder, and as far away from the finals as ever.

And as the contracts of the big 3 expire (Ray Allen next year, Paul Pierce in two and KG in three), the Celtics will be able to replace each of these with a max-contract player. If Lebron is interested in winning, maybe he'll wear the green.

Celts will be contenders for the next several years at a minimum.

Well with the addition of Rasheed, and as long as Garnett stays healthy, I'd pick them to beat the East.

Contenders? Hmmm, depends how Ainge does. Before adding Allen and Garnett he had the puzzle pieces but didn't know what to do with them.

Celtics are a contender even without Sheed but with him it just makes them that much better. Sheed is a tough mofo and can actually shoot the ball. With everyone else on the Celtics, they are damn good.

lol who do you think is gonna be there? I don't like the celtics but I don't see anyone else beating them. DEFINITELY not the cavs, and I don't think the magic will be able to do it without hedo and with vince. Celtics will be there, no question

Yes I agree. I think the Cavs had a shot this year, because they matched up better with Boston than they did Orlando.

Vince may be a great player, but I don't really know how Howard expects to get the ball more with him rather than Turkoglu. In Cleveland, Shaq can talk all he wants, but when it comes time to play, he just wants the ball. He won't demand it from LeBron, but I'm not sure he'll give it up that easily.

Lakers vs Celtics part II, this time the Lakers take it to them. I hope I don't get proved wrong.

DID YOU GUYS HEAR ABOUT THE RAPTORS TRADE OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!

We can re-sign any of our free agents, this includes

Anthony Parker
Carlos Delfino
Pop Mensah-Bonsu
Joey Graham

We Now have the MLE to use, possibly on the following player(s)

Nate Robinson
Matt Barnes
Rodney Carney
Linas Keleiza

We have the LLE to use, possibly on

Rasho Nestrovic

We got Hedo Turkoglu, who was the best free agent available giving up NOTHING in return.
He was arguably the MVP of the Magic playoff run.

We traded our scrub, Jason Kapono for one of the NBA's baddest Muh Phuckas

We dumped Kris Humphries for 2 expirings, one scrub veteran, and one young asset with upside.

We drafted the kid with the most athletic potential in the draft, DeMar DeRozan.

Did Bryan Colangelo just rape the NBA?

Yupp!

But Honestly what a golden offseason, I would go as far as saying this may be the best off season of this franchises history.

hahahaha im sooo happy

This. You can upgrade all you want, but you won't beat out the Big Three in the East.

Furthermore, if all the stars lined up and all the planets spun on just the right axis, and the Raptors somehow made it to the finals, they would be destroyed by none other than Mr. Black Mambda himself, Kobe Bryant.

Enjoy Bosh, because he'll be on a different team next year.

like i said in another thread, bynum = overrated.
he's going to end up like jermaine o'neal.

vince is content with not being the go-to guy. he doesn't demand touches.
i'd say it was a slight upgrade over turk. more slashing and throw downs, but less 3 point shooting.

I can live with you being a Spurs fan. There is only one thing that we disagree entirely on.

I hate Manu Ginobili with a passion. I think hes a below average to average player who has had his career stats inflated because of the referees and his continuous flopping. His career PPG would probably be about 4 - 6 points lower if he actually played like a real NBA player and not a flopping whining bitch. He is literally the only player in the NBA who I hate with a passion. There are a veritable SHITLOAD of NBA fans who are in 100% agreement with me.

You think Manu Ginobili is the 2nd coming of Christ and some player who deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. I completely disagree and I truly hope he will never make it to the HOF (and I truly believe he wont).

I also predict his career is over after this year. Those weak ankles cant take it anymore.

rofl, i'm not a ginobli fan but even a casual watcher will tell you that he is NOT below avg.
he is most def an above avg guy that can shoot and great ability to drive into the lane.
